Healthy Pets is one of the leaders in online insurance, the company was founded in 1996 by Mark Effenberg, who remains at the helm today as Chief Executive. As a self proclaimed proud ‘pet parent’ Effenberg established Healthy Pets for the simple reason that he could not find an insurer at the time who truly understood the bond between a pet and its owner. What really makes this independent and specialist insurer great is their first hand knowledge of what pets and owners need - And with one of the highest renewal rates in the pet insurance industry their customers obviously agree!

THE CHALLENGEHealthy Pets needed to raise brand awareness and increase visibility in a very competitive and saturated market. Healthy Pets’ overall marketing coverage needed to incorporate every stage of the customer journey, whilst providing a clear report of ROI so they can make informed decisions along the way.

OUR SOLUTIONWe developed an marketing campaign that integrated several targeted solutions.

  • A Paid Search campaign ensured Healthy Pets were visible to potential customers searching for insurance; by targeting consumers utilising the main insurance key terms; cat insurance, dog insurance and pet insurance we were able to drive bigger volumes of quality traffic to their website. This meant an increase in the number of leads and sales of their insurance products.
  • We also collaborated with established creative designers to provide a range of smart display banners. These were animated to provide time dependent messages to a targeted demographic on a range of devices.

THE RESULTSWith 12,200,000 views over a monthly period, we were able to raise brand awareness for a fraction of the cost of a conventional CPM campaign. This resulted in 1.2%  increase in the conversion rate of the site overall attributed to the brand campaign - Success!
